I'm well-travelled, but my experience at the Candlewood Suites Austin-Round Rock was a first! The Sales Manager visited my room to ask pertinent questions regarding my stay. She displayed professionalism and was knowledgeable at her job. I loved all the FREE things the hotel offered...FREE washing/drying, coffee 24/7, computer with option to print & parking. In addition, the mini snack bar was a great touch and well stocked but NOT free. The hotel was always visibly clean and smelt fresh.

Close to a lovely Downtown and several convenience stores, if you're unable to make your way to one of the local HEB's the nearby gas station is a great place to get some water and snacks for your first night (not that clean but it serves its purpose). The room was clean, no odor, comfy for two people staying for two weeks, great AC and kitchen facilities. Staff was very friendly and quick to assist with fresh towels or remagnetizing cards left next to a phone. Several very nice restaurants are within walking distance but the highway traffic (which IS audible from a facing room but not even louder than the AC), lack of clear crossing places and in my case the heat made an Uber an excellent choice for dining or shopping trips. The outlet mall a few miles away made for a lovely day out and Downtown has several bars and a great donut place. All in all a nice, quiet hotel with great room amenities and nearby venues.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The staff was friendly and professional, and they made sure I had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere and convenient location. I’d definitely stay here again

We were delighted with our stay here for two nights. The accommodation exceeded expectations; very comfortable bed, lovely pristine bed linen and towels, huge fridge, dinnerware, silverware, etc., indeed, everything one could have wanted for a stay of a couple of nights or even more. The lady receptionist at check-in was kind, welcoming, and efficient. Just what you need after a long day on the road. Also, she was very helpful in pointing us in the right direction for nearby restaurants. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend to friends and family.

The staff was exceptional - very friendly and extremely helpful. Lidia, Veronica and Amanda went above and beyond to help me out when a mistake on my part caused my employee to be without a room for another week as this location was completely booked and had no available rooms, and the situation was so that it made more sense for me to move to another hotel rather than him. I was already late to an appointment and had appointments scheduled every 30 minutes for the next 3 hours so literally had very little time to pack up my room and my frustration was very visible to these wonderful women. Just as I was throwing my clothes into my suitcase (literally) and gathering all the rest of my stuff (I don't pack light and had accumulated huge stacks of paperwork this trip), Veronica knocked on my door and asked me to stop packing and give them 10 minutes to see if they could work something out for me and they DID!! They certainly had no obligation to me to go to any effort to help me out, nor did I expect that they should or would, They just did!! They worked out several more issues before it was all over and quickly relieved my tension. These ladies deserve 50 stars, not just 5 and I am forever grateful. I am thankful and feel blessed that my journey (and mistake) brought such a wonderful experience to my day and put a smile on my face. They deserve an award and huge BONUS!! Thank you ladies!! You ALL ROCK!! Candlewood Round Rock you are blessed with such amazing staff! Appreciate them please - it is so very rare to find employees willing to go an extra mile or two these days simply to help out a frustrated customer they don't even know! You'll know me now - I will now be staying at Candlewood on my monthly trips to Austin!! Keep the light on for me ;)

I really enjoyed the room and the bed was the best!! One of those you don't want to get out of. They have a room to get snacks and drinks. I will stay there anytime I am in the Austin area.

Staff was friendly. The room was clean and spacious. It had amenities most suites don't like silverware, cookware. Was quiet and comfortable.
